What you won't find on my resume...

I am obsessed with anything relating to design, public relations, and advertising. I am a total nerd about all things homemade and the way things are presented. Packaging of a product is important to me, I love when I can tell that someone put thought into how their product is represented on the shelf.

I never change channels during the commercials. First, because I'm a woman and second, because I love to see the ways companies are representing their products or services through visuals.

I never buy a greeting card with the envelope that it was intended to be with. It started out this way because I usually don't like the color of the envelope it's paired with, but now, I think it's just out of habit.

Since my parents first brought home a computer, when I was about seven years old, I have been in love with learning about and on this machine. I started my own greeting card "company" with Paint and Print Maker and now continue making cards for friends and family with Adobe Suite. I hope to someday own and operate my own line of cards, or at least an Etsy shop.

I have grown up with social media. I started my first blog when I was thirteen and I feel fortunate to have been in the target audience of all of the major social networks as they were becoming a hit. What do I mean by that? MySpace was for teenagers, Facebook and Twitter were for college students, Pinterest, for twenty-something women, and LinkedIn is for professionals. See what I mean? If you're looking for help with social media, I'm it. Not just because I use it daily, but because I've researched it and continue to learn about how to use it effectively.

Above all though, I love people. I like meeting and working with other people and seeing what different things they are in to and what makes them unique. I'm excited to start my career in the realm of communication, because in any part of this field, it's all about the people. Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. I appreciate you being here to look around and learn about my experiences.

Feel free to stay a while.
